Favorite Hay so far... *by A***A on March 30, 2014* I'm amazed that my rabbit has already gone through one bag in about 6 weeks so I have another order on the way. Rabbits are supposed to eat mostly hay supplemented by greens, small amounts of kibble (I feed her Oxbow Bunny Basics adult -NO alfalfa) and occasional treats. Last visit to the vet they said she was "a wee bit round" and that we needed to cut waaaaay back on the kibble. not a popular change but as a result she eats more hay and it's healthier and cheaper it turns out as the kibble is expensive and now lasts a lot longer. In the past it was hard to find any hay that she would eat at all maybe because of freshness or her taste is changing since she is maturing haha - 3 years old this spring and very healthy!!!!
