**Q: Does this include a blade? The info @ Amazon says bare tool, yet the Skil website says yes.**
A: Yes, the blade is included.  The tile saw includes the 7 in. Diamond Blade, Side Extension, Rip Fence, Miter Gauge, Blade Guard and Blade Wrench.

**Q: Why is this model so much more expensive than the model is replaced?  The 3540-02 was half this price, so what is the difference?**

The Skil 3550 can cut tiles up to 18x18 inches, has an aluminum table top and also our Patent Pending HydroLock System which is an innovated upper and lower guard design that keeps water contained near the blade. The Skil 3540 cuts tile up to 12x12 inches, has a stainless steel table top and does not have the HydroLock System. **Q: Need to slice 1/8"-1/2" glass rods coe 104 & 32. Slice cylinder= thickness of rod & length of 4mm. cut should be clean but not pristine. Will thiswork**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great saw for the price but don't expect professional performance

If you don't consider price in evaluating this saw let's say you will be very disappointed. This is not a great saw but for a DIY home job it gets the job done. Now here is the bad.. 1. The saw table adjusts to 45 degrees for bevel cuts. Unfortunately, the angle didn't quote get to 45 and only about 40. It may not sound like a lot until you try to match up corner pieces. I had to shim my tiles under the table to get the desired 45 degree angle. 2. The motor is very weak. It stalls very easily and won't restart until you release any friction or load. That means completely removing the tile from the table. I bet you could grab a spinning blade with your hand and stall it. Of course i don't recommend testing that. But once again this is a bargain for the price. While it is not powerful it gets the job done. You just have to go slow and make sure the reservoir stays filled with water. Also, i was cutting irregular stone veneer so in all honesty i was asking a lot of a cheap saw. It did get the job done. 3. The reservoir is very small. It will run dry after a few cuts so you will need to add water regularly. 4. The blade will not last very long. Once again... what do you expect. Go buy a better blade or just use it for that 1 job. 5. As with most saws in this class you will get wet if cutting irregular surface tile. I think it is the nature of the beast when the blade sits in water vs. a pumped water delivery to the leading edge of the blade. The good: 1. very small foot print allow for easy storage for that DIY guy who uses a saw once every few years. 2. easy assembly 3. seemed very durable considering the torture i put it through.
