**Q: Where are these smokers manufactured?  Mann Lake and Dadant have the same looking smokers but at double the price.**
A: We manufacture these smokers in China so that we may offer a quality product at a lower price.  They meet U.S. quality standards and should work very well for you.Thank you!

**Q: What's the country of origin?**
A: My husband looked on the smoker but could not find a country of origin. Sorry, I can't help you, however, it does work good.

**Q: are the bellows leather?**
A: Mine was not!!! It was fake leather and melted when light charcoal got onto it. I have plenty of little holes and I have returned it.

**Q: What is the small metal piece for? It's approximately 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" and is curved on two sides. It was loose in the box.**
