There's a bottle pocket on the outside. The lining is waterproof, but I haven't had it soaked per se. Works great at the pool, but will have to see how it hold's up at the beach. It seems very well made, and was less expensive than a vinyl one I purchased at a big box store (although the price I paid was much less than the $89 shown now). Review: Could be better for the price... - My Husband bought this for me since we live close to the beach and go there frequently. The bag is great, but feel it is overpriced for what it is. The first time we used the bag the zipper pulls fell off, I have since reattached then and had to clamp the closure where they attach down smaller so they would not fall again. I have also recently notice that the zipper pulls bend really easily as you are pulling them open or closed, at this point I am waiting for them to snap in half altogether.
