Product Description Cleaning Uses All-Purpose Cleaner Mix 1tbsp of soda ash with 2 cups of water Use as a spot cleaner on countertops, stoves and bathroom porcelain Clean Patio/Garage Floors Cleans greasy, oily stains Make a paste of soda ash and water Apply to the floor and let the paste dry Then sweep up the powder and rinse away any residue Laundry Boost Pre-soak dirty clothes in a bucket with 1 cup of soda ash and 1L of warm water This will remove dirt and stains, then rinse as normal Sink & Bath Cleaner Mix 1tsp of soda ash with 2 cups of water in a spray bottle Apply to porcelain bath and sink fixtures This will break down soap residue and will help get rid of any water marks

It’s easy to use I personally put it directly into the washing machine drum with the the clothes, add it to hot water for cleaning, and sprinkle it directly on mattress and furniture as deodorant . For safety o use gloves. And keep in air tight container and shake every few times to avoid clamping. I’ve never smelled anything my nose is not as good

A: I really don't know, it only states that it's 99.5% sodium carbonate on the package, the best thing to probably do is contact the manufacturer and ask the question.

**Q: Can this be used to soak clothing to remove stains? Is it the same as violets mineral bleach?**
A: Yes, soda ash can be used to soak clothing to remove stains. Fill a bucket with warm water and add a cup of soda ash and stir, leave to soak for few hours/overnight.

**Q: Is this product light coloured and anhydrous?**
A: The powder is white. It does not specify anhydrous but did state 99.5%.

**Q: Has anyone use this to dye fabric?**
