From bottom of tamper to top of handle? Diameter of handle?** A: The mm size for the tamper is referring to the width of steel base. Measure the inside of your coffee filter to see if tamper would fit inside. The one I bought was 51mm, which is 2 inches. The tamper should just barely fit inside filter to properly press all the coffee grounds. **Q: What is the screw diameter in mm? The thickness of the screw inside the wooden handle? Can someone measure the diameter of the screw with a caliper?** A: Believe it's a m8, the diameter is .30 **Q: Where is it made?** A: Not sure where it was made. It’s solid wood, heavy and works well. I’ve had guests who use it ask me where I bought it because it’s better than the one they had. I’d recommend it, wherever it was made. **Q: What is the screw diameter in mm? The thickness of the screw inside the wooden handle?** A: I believe it's a m8. The major diameter of the handle is .30, I tried using a 5/16 bolt. Didn't quite match. I don't have a m8 bolt.
