I have a Milwaukee brand full brim hard hat and despite what others may have experienced, as you can see in the photos, these fit perfectly fine and created a good, firm seal while maintaining comfort. I think there are two reasons others may have had a different experience than me: 1) THE USER MUST FULLY ENGAGE THE MUFF BRACKETS! There is a bracket setting that keeps these slightly off your ears, but if you push down on the muffs a little harder, they will completely engage and fully seal. 2) The Milwaukee Full Brim has cut outs on the side brims to allow for clearance with this ear pro. I cannot comment on other types of helmets. Also, they are clumsy to move up onto the sides of the hardhat when not in use. They are however, very comfortable and quiet. **Q: Will these work with a Pyramex hard hat?** A: mine works on bullard hardhats if that helps, it's a standard cap style hardhat, I don't have a pyramex. your hat definitely needs slots on the sides for these to work. most full brim hats do not have the slots for these. **Q: These do go up and out of the way when not using? Toward the back of the helmet?** A: Yes they do.. **Q: Will these fit V gard full brim hardhat?** A: No, these are designed to fit a cap-style hardhat. Our company uses hardhats with brims extending out about an inch which will not work with this product.
