(I’m looking for glassware that specifically fits into a flight paddle I own)** A: It is 1 1/2 inches at the base, and ~2 1/2 inches at the widest point. It’s a narrow tulip-shape, so it’s wider a little further up the glass. **Q: Can they withhold heat temperatures** A: They are champagne glasses. I don't know why one would put hot liquids in them. There is a ton of other glassware for just that purpose (hot liquids). **Q: do you have to wash them before first use?** A: I always wash all glasses when they are new. **Q: Can these stemless champagne glasses be etched?** A: I imagine they could be etched.
