A: If your holding by three handle shouldn't be hot... However I use these to pick up my mugs after pressing them for several minutes at over 375 degrees. They are super hot and these gloves protect me... Bought two pair.

**Q: Can I use these to protect my hands when I exercise with resistance bands?**
A: Yes you can. May not be super comfortable with the heat resistant bumps.

**Q: Are these good for baking?**

Sounds like its only to prevent accidental touches and not act like over mits. Upsetting to me because i ordered it to hand hot glass off a heat press

**Q: Can they be used wit clothes steamer**
A: i don't know.  i use them to hold very hot ceramic..but it is dry heat.  the black part is  a woven kind of cloth material... it might allow the steam to penetrate.
