Review: Super cute! - This was worth the money spent. The lights are so pretty and it shines all over my baby's room, it's a bit smaller than I expected but it still shines and rotates. As far as I know there is no remote control so I'm not sure why desertcart wants me write about that. You can set a timer for it to turn off and that's super nice, I can set it for 20-30 minutes and my baby will be asleep by the time it goes off. I like that there's a cover to make it a night light instead of a projector. I'd say it's a quality product overall. Updated review; I've only used this product a handful of times and the green and blue projector lights went out and the white night light stopped working. I bought this item in early June and it's been less than a month of having it, we might have used it 9-10 times for 20 minutes.
Review: A cool toy/nightlight for people into a starry sky - Got this for my girlfriend because she loves astronomy and she ended up loving this thing more than I thought she would. It is cool to see it on the ceiling and is relaxing to see. The motion setting does make the both of us nauseous. The timer is a nice addition, especially because the bulbs are not replaceable. The dimmer is not actually a dimmer, it is supposed to turn the device into an actual nightlight without the stars. It is insanely bright if you look directly into it, so don't.... It can get a bit repetitive, but kids won't really seem to mind, after all it is better than putting all of those cheap glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling. The batteries lasted us around 12 hours of use which is pretty good for a lighting device. We now use the USB adapter and no problems at all. It has a few color options and a ton of settings and features. For the money spent on this, it is definitely worth a buy. I would highly recommend this to parent's of children who cannot sleep or for gadget freaks who like stars and things on their ceiling.

**Q: Is it complicated to use this lamp?**
A: It's a really cute lamp! Just gotta find a spot whether u want it centered or like mine is in the corner..still looks good

**Q: is it a plug in or it works with batteries?**
A: plug. Batterie is also possible. The seller said that the battery and data cable cannot be used at the same time. So, I removed the battery. Only use the data cable. I bought another as a birthday present for my niece. 👍👍👍

**Q: Is the sound coming from motor noticeable, when projector night light rotating?**
A: To be honest I’ve never noticed the noise because it is quiet when it rotates. It really would not disturb my baby

**Q: Star night light looks very flimsy and the plastic cover seems does not hold up well?**
A: Don't squeeze it violently. I think the quality of this stars night light is trustworthy

This was worth the money spent. The lights are so pretty and it shines all over my baby's room, it's a bit smaller than I expected but it still shines and rotates. As far as I know there is no remote control so I'm not sure why Amazon wants me write about that. You can set a timer for it to turn off and that's super nice, I can set it for 20-30 minutes and my baby will be asleep by the time it goes off. I bought this for my newborn who loves to watch the ceiling fans during the day. We turn these stars on at night when we put him to bed and he is obsessed. It has a timer with 5 minute increments up to 1 hour. You can pick one, two, or three star colors to show at once. You can choose for the stars to be still or rotate around the room. It has both a battery powered option or you can plug it into the wall. It does burn through batteries pretty fast. We use it nightly for 15-30 minutes and have to change the batteries every other week, but if we had a plug close to where we use it then it wouldn’t be an issue at all. The room does have to be very dark for the stars to show up well. If you have a lamp or night light on the stars won’t show up, but since we use it to put baby to sleep that’s not a problem. If the projector is on it does light up to room enough for you to see so you wouldn’t need a lamp or night light on anyways. I was worried it wouldn’t last or would be poor quality because it’s a much cheaper option compared to other projectors but I am very satisfied with this product.
