Do not expect it to completely relieve a major caffeine addiction. This product is a slow, steady release of caffeine. I purchased it because I am studying a lot in my Master's program and working on clinical practice in addition to holding a full time job and being a wife and mom. When I knew I had a long day (or would have to pull an all-nighter for school), I would put the patch on for the day and I would be fine. It did its job and I will order again when I run out. Just remember that it is not intended to function like a nicotine patch does when you're trying to quite smoking.
