Review: Love it. Happy Toddler. Happy Mom. - I know there's a lot of debate about pouches and toddlers, but I think like everything else if you use it in moderation you are a-okay! We've been on the road a lot during these COVID times, and packing a healthy meal for a toddler can be challenging! I cringed every time we'd buy the Plum, Peter Rabbit, Once Upon a Farm, "insert pricey pouch price here". They were running us about $1.50-$2 a piece! My biggest gripe was the actual portions of veggies/fruits actually in each pack - some list it out, and honestly most of them are just pure fruit. When we are home I love to have my little guy go at it with feeling his food - we use these pouches either as a snack during the day or when we are in situations where its a little more difficult to get him to eat (usually if we visit someone or are on the road). What I love about this device: -Super easy to work. You just place the pouch in the slot, screw on the tube and push in the goodness (I'll admit I didn't read the instructions and stood puzzled for a good ten minutes on how to get the pouch on there, so don't feel bad if you do the same lol) -Super easy to clean. I use a straw brush to make sure the little end of the tube is cleaned too, but overall not that much mess to clean up! -Peace of mind knowing what's in the pouches! For a quick no cook pouch it takes me under ten minutes, and knowing that my toddler is getting fresh ingredients AND his veggies in makes me a happy momma! -Pouch prices. Sure these aren't going to save you a tremendous amount of money, but each disposable pouch is $.30 and food maybe is around another $.05-.10 a pack? Hey it's still savings and it's fresh! You could probably do reusable packs, but for me this route is so much easier. Each pouch you can store for about 2-3 days in the fridge and I think as long as 3 months in the freezer. Kind of like storing breastmilk! I haven't frozen any yet, so far I've been prepping about 2 yogurt mixes and 2 veggie mixes and it seems to work out great.
Review: Worth it! - I had tons of leftover jars of baby food that my 11month old son just refuses to eat, because he'd have to use a spoon and it takes too long. Recently, we tried the food pouches again to see if that worked better during snack time. I didn't buy any reusable pouches and just bought the one-time, disposable ones from the grocery store to see if he'd like them. He loves them! I instantly went on a hunt for reusable pouches and found this. It has been a game changer at snack time. I can grab one of his favorite food jars and pop one in a pouch or pour in a homemade puree and the outcome is the same. He devours them and can eat on his own, which his little independent self loves. The setup is really easy to put together. The pusher thing can be a little tricky to push down with certain foods and does not get the last tiny little bit in the tube, but not enough to notice really. The only other thing I notice is I may have to make a small tug to get the pouch out, which can be tricky with the small amount of food at the tip of the pouch. I did purchase some reusable bags separately through another seller that I have yet to use. The bags included in this set are not reusable (Granted, I make them reusable by washing them out and hanging them to dry on our bottle rack lol) but are durable and have yet to get holes during snack time or wear out. They're just as good as the grocery store pouches. I also bought some reusable silicone covers for the plastic top of the food pouches. My son is teething and likes to bite things hard and the plastic can hurt. I highly recommend some silicone covers for any pouches. The pouches are really easy to squeeze and food can go everywhere. I found that out the hard way when my son decided to swing a pouch around while eating. With a cover, they can't squeeze food out and they're easy to put up when they're done.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I really need this system or can I just buy their 50 ct pouches and use a jumbo syringe to fill them?**
A: To be honest, you don't need to buy a separate system. I used 60ml syringe and it works just fine. I am not sure what other means extra mess. Its actually very simple and easy. I have been using these pouches with syringe for past 5 years now.

**Q: can you reuse the pouches**
A: yes you can reuse them, just rinse them out with acidic water from your water ionizer which you should have anyways if you are making food for your baby, why don't you have a alkaline water ionizer? anyways the water is acidic so nothing will grow in them when its rinsed out and then if you just shake the water mostly all the way out you can refill them right away and it will most likely be safe but I am not a doctor

**Q: Just out of curiosity has anyone found a reusable pouch that works with the station. I know you have screw on the top thingy thought I'd just ask.**
A: The Wee Sprout are not compatible with the station. They won’t slide into the base. BUT you can screw on the tube that pushes the food in. It’s just trickier to get the food in there without the base holding it up.

**Q: Are there any other disposable squeeze pouches that are compatible with this system? The refill pouches are a tad pricey..**
A: I don't know about disposable options, but I did find there are other re-usable pouches that fit the machine. You can use, wash and re-use.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Messy but it works
*by Y***Z on March 21, 2026*

I went through a brief period where I was determined to make my own baby food. Nothing but organics, all home made and nutritious. That period lasted all of a month because then reality hit and I realize I dont have the energy to do this every week. But anyways, back to the product. This worked well for my purpose. It is very straight forward and easy to use. It does get messy and all the place but that could also be me operating on 3 hours of sleep. So take that with a grain of salt. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do. No complaints, I would recommend.
