Filled with fake reviews and leaks upon delivery. **Q: Is this hoses size and quick connects the same as camelbak?** A: Hose is the same size but the quick connect on the RIQIK pack is a doffered connect than camelbak. I prefer this bak over camelbak. It's stronger, o ring on connect seals better, and it opens at top to clean easier. This one doesn't leak at all. **Q: can the plastic peace under cap be removed** A: no **Q: What are the actual dimensions of the bladder? Particularly its height? I had previously purchased a couple of different brands over the years that made the water so horrible tasting, I didn't want to drink it (not good for a hydration system). I've never had a problem with any of them leaking at the seams. I tested it out for taste or lack of right away and was extremely pleased with the water tasting like…..water. I took my Camelback (which the last 2 times I’d had it out, lost the flow valve & leaked all over me) out of my pack & replaced it with the RIQIK. I did find that if I was sucking fairly aggressively, there was a bit of a bad taste. I'm not sure if I adjusted where my lips & tongue were in addition to not sucking as hard, but after a handful of times, I wasn't getting the taste any more. The push/pull valve, while confusing when holding the unit in front, makes total sense when it's in a pack & the tube runs down a shoulder strap then up to the mouth. It just got nasty, so I decided to purchase a new one. I've had this hydration bladder for a couple months, and it sits next to my bed, so it's not getting beat up or anything. I have had *so* many problems with it leaking and soaking anything next to it. All pieces were assembled tightly, and I can't figure out where the water is managing to get out. Definitely does have a chemical taste, and the bite valve is annoying for me since so little water comes out. If I'm thirsty, I don't want to work harder to get a drink.*Edit* I've been using this for work in the field now, and It's been doing okay not leaking when upright, but the cap will not stay on at all, and also is a pain to push through the opening in a pack where the hose comes out. By the way about falling. Even right now I’m in big doubts about if it falls on the ground it will be damaged. That’s because of a thick layer of rubber.The second advantage is that this bladder is really easy to clean. Just pull over the spout and clean with water. And it is very comfortable, I say.
