They do the job well; when i originally got it, i thought may even be a little too thick, but is good to pass current when you need it, you will be glad you have it. I carry these with me at all times in my jeep. Very suitable for bigger trucks that have a large battery. If you have a smaller or medium car, these cables maybe an overkill. I would only get these for larger trucks or cars of 8 cylinders or more that have a big battery. The cable thickness in my opinion is a bit excessive for a 6 cylinder engine, just my opinion.
