I do have to replace them every once in a while if I accidentally drop them on the tile floor - they might get bent eventually but that's on me! Two important things I'd like to note: 1. if you're new to cuticle clippers and you're cutting hang nails - do not hold them horizontally, hold them at 45 degree angle because the sharp bottom part might cut into your skin below - this is expected but you might not know this if you never used these before. 2. over time the metal curved piece that is on the inside of the handle begins to gets stuck where metal is rubbing against metal to create tension - then put a tiny drop of oil there and it glides like new again. Review: Nice and sharp cuticle tweezers, they are bigger compared to all tweezers I used previously and it makes the grip very comfortable. To save them from rust I keep them in the plastic pouch they came in. These are a much sleeker and streamlined design than any other brand I've tried. For some reason, other brands make the head part so bulky. These, however, are more narrow and rounded making quick work out of even the most overgrown cuticles. The blades are V sharp, so be very careful the first month or so of use.
