My crypts are so robust that I've moved them and rescaped and never had any crypt melt which happened all the time with other brands. No nutrient defiencies. I have aqua soil and deep root tabs but its been about a year since soil/root tabs so its really just the fertilizer doing the work now. I had 0 algae which was expected since this does not dose excess nutrients. These micro nutrient fertilizers (lean fertilizer) is incredible if you want to avoid algae, have nutrients in substrate and have fish in the tank which means they will be pooping(nutrients). I will be buying this product until they degrade it or raise the price too high.
