So until the electricity went out, I had not known how well it was working (at least for odors). The unit had been placed in a central hallway, across from the cat litter box. When the power was interrupted, it was easy to discern that this filter had been continuously eliminating used cat litter odors. I think I am neither the best nor the worst at keeping cat litter pans cleaned; but when this revelation occurred, I knew just how important this type of filter would continue to be to me. We continually breathe all kinds of unknown items in our air...sheetrock dust, gravel road dust, cat litter odors, trash can odors...you name it; so I believe it is important to filter our air in confined spaces whenever possible.
