There is some give in the sole, but your feet are properly supported because of the quality of materials used in the sole. They may arrive with a sticker on the packaging (I ordered a size 6) and the sticker said 8, but this is an American size. Under the sole of the shoe, it clearly gives the American, European and UK size. You will receive the correct size.
