Then I wear a second pair until they become smaller. At that point, I roll one of each pair together to make two larger plugs and use those until they get old and dirty and begin to harden. A couple of pairs can last a long time if you use them carefully. They are much better than fixed size hard plastic ear plugs because you can mold them to fit your individual ears. I’ve used ear plugs for at least 45 years and these are the best I’ve found for my needs. They are easy to insert and remove, do a good job of keeping most regular noise down (I use them to help keep it quiet for sleeping) and last for a long time if you take care of them and store the ones you are using in the plastic cube many of the boxes of plugs come with.
