Review: Awesome Kitchen Tool - This thing works great! I needed a heavy knife that would cut through chicken bones. I feed my cats a raw diet and grind chicken parts with bones in my grinder. The bones need to be no more than about 3 inches by 3 inches or they will clog my grinder. This big knife is sharp enough and heavy enough to get the job done. It's a dangerous weapon so once it's cleaned and oiled, it goes back in it's box until the next use. You definitely don't want to accidentally drop this thing on your foot or let a child use it. Don't use barefoot!

This is the battle axe of bone choppers. Heavy!!! I had to replace a “cleaver” that was one of my faves. The old was good for chopping meat but chipped when really chopping bones. This one doesn’t flinch. If anything, make sure your cutting board can take it. Don’t use on a counter, this thing will axe it easily.
