The wired bottom can cause bumble foot in guinea pigs, if you’re buying for guinea pigs you’ll need a hard bottom for atop the wires, really just not for guinea pigs.

This product is so unstable I wouldn’t trust putting my animal in it of any kinda let alone my guinea pigs. The instructions are so horrible you can barley make them out also the pictures on the instructions are in black and white so you can’t tell what piece is what it’s a complete joke! I ended up using the pieces to create my own guinea pig run and had to zip tie every inch of it to make sure it would stay sturdy enough for the piggies so they couldn’t get out!!! Save your money buy the run on Amazon or go to chewy.com for guinea pig cages way better quality and more for your moneys worth!!!

The instructions are useless. They didn’t send enough square pieces for the roof! And there isn’t a way to contact them to get missing pieces.

Awesome amount of space for a great price. But please don’t normalize wire bottom cages, it is so rough on their feet. Please cover it if you by this cage.

I purchased this to replace our 3 guinea pigs' cage, the former one (47*24in) was doing great but not big enough for the 3rd. This one is so cute and well made, as big as 46in*46in including an extra small habitat.We have it assembled within less 15 minutes while following the simple directions, which is easy and fun.The balcony with a slide is the perfect place for food and water, what I love most so far is the design that enables their waste to fall down to the beneath area. I'd say It's a lifesaver: We use fleece for our guinea pigs and this was much easier to keep it clean.The cage is also with a cute water bottle, food container and a hay bowl. Piggies do like the hay bowl and it is less messy than the hay feeder/sack we had been using.There is plenty of room in the cage for hideouts and toys. Piggies have taken in very well. All around, we are glad we made this purchase.
