Review: AUTHENTICALLY DELICIOUS! - Maybe this isn’t authentic chimichurri, but it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! It’s a perfect blend of hot, tangy (the vinegar, no doubt), salty and herbaceous. I couldn’t believe how yummy it is; full of umami and this definitely could be a Mexican mix, too. In fact, it’s a fab sort of universal base if and if you were to add your own spice preferences to it, it would just work perfectly. I added a bit of cumin and coriander to it, just my personal preferences, but it certainly doesn’t need any augmentation. The heat level is assertive, but not obnoxious and it’s fairly quickly dissipated. I’ve used it to make an incredible “Dirty” rice and a sprinkle on my tinned fishes and all are improved by it. Delicious on lentils and beans of any kind, too. I usually dump salsa on everything and this “chimichurri” is particularly delicious mixed with tomatillo salsa. I think it would be a fantastic rub for any meat, barbecue, or stew. Is it authentic. Yes, its authentically scrumptious!

I added a little olive oil and red wine vinegar to a few teaspoons of this mix and marinated a skirt steak . It was amazing .

Me and my kid love this stuff were on our 3rd one. Its great on wings or drums or any chicken. Haven't tried it on pork yet but its worth a try. Highly recommend to try out.
