I honestly had no prior knowledge or experience with this product before I bought it. It was alright. This definitely does not smell like unicorn dreams, it pretty much smells like wet play dough? It does the job though. I mix this with Dove body wash too because I don't really care for the smell. So after I'm done I rinse off/finish with Dove Original body wash. I probably won't buy again because I am the type of person who really likes to buy things that I normally don't use or can't find in my local stores. But if you're asking if I would recommend this to other people I would say yeah go for it maybe somebody else will like it better than me. I get that. But honestly, I almost threw this out after the first use. I've never taken a shower before where I felt dirtier post-cleanse, yet here I was experiencing that for the first time. I can't begin to describe the smell other than "sweaty glue" which is a really weird combination. It smelled like nasty sweaty feet and elmer's glue, like I was stuck in a PE class full of first-graders. BUT I read that some people kept it to use as a shaving cream so I thought the last I could do was that. The further into the tub I got, the better the smell was? Just something about the top inch of it was foul so maybe mix it up if you're experiencing that? I don't really know. It does have a fruity smell now that I have gotten far enough into the jar so maybe I had a bad batch? I don't think I'd risk trying it again though since this was my first experience with this brand. So tldr: if it smells funky, mix it up.
