Review: High quality taiji /qigong shoes - It's difficult to find the right fit. I am between a 38 and a 39 and decide to order 39 and wear thicker socks. I normally wear a US 7 Wide. The shoes are well made with a rubber sole. I wear them to taiji classes but also sometimes at home as house shoes. They are comfortable, light and sturdy. Would recommend.

**Q: I wear a size 8 in women's shoes and size 9 in tennis shoes, what size do you think I should order? Thank you.**
A: A seven.. these shoes run big but are so comfy. I wear a 7. However, I returned them for a sz 6 as they run big. They don’t come in half sizes but I would’ve chosen a 5 1/2. Even a 6 is lose but I love their comfort; I wear socks w/ them.

**Q: Are the shoes labeled black y good for tai chi (neither too grippy nor too slick for hard floor)? do they slip off the feet? (opening seems big.) thx.**
A: The opening isn’t a problem but they run a little big so I would recommend dropping down a size for women. Not sure about the fit for men.

**Q: I got a pair of shoes today it was a size 9 I need a size before Saturday women size should I get a size 8 or 8 and 1/2**
A: for women I'd say 8

A: Per reviews, it comes a bit larger than actual size.  I wear size 6 1/2, I purchased a size 7 due to the unavailability.  I ended up in returning it as size 7 was too big for me.  P.S. I think the upper material (cotton) is not sturdy enough for walking shoes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These Shoes Are Terrific!

I started Tai Chi almost 2 years ago, and decided to buy a pair of dedicated Tai Chi shoes. Up to now I've been playing Tai Chi with my regular Nike sneakers. I received these shoes a few days ago. The fit was a tad big, however they fit fine when I put on athletic socks. I've been practicing with them at home and am well pleased. Today, I used them for the first time in Tai Chi class. I was amazed! I had noticed from practicing at home that the shoes made an big difference, but at the class I realized just how big a difference they made. They grip the wooden dojo floor when necessary, yet at other times seem to glide through the movements as though on ice. I am able to focus more on doing the Form properly instead of overcoming the resistance between the Nikes and the floor. I'm ordering another pair. I'll leave one pair for class at the dojo, the other pair to practice with at home. Great job by maker YunPeng!
