Review: Not stamped “Made in Japan” or even “Japan Steel”, so the advertising is misleading. - I ordered this non serrated version as well as the serrated version. Neither were stamped “Made in Japan” or even “Japan Steel”, so the advertising is misleading (and illegal in Australia, breaching Australian Consumer Law). The manufacturer build quality of the knife and the packaging is ok, but the delivery packaging was unacceptable (no protection or bubblewrap). The serrated version was noticeably smaller, but I sent the non serrated version back because it was missing the nylon pouch (as shown in the listing’s photos), it also showed signs of previous use as it had scuff marks on the side of the blade, and the packaging looked previously opened and poorly repackaged. Not good enough desertcart 😏

I ordered this non serrated version as well as the serrated version. Neither were stamped “Made in Japan” or even “Japan Steel”, so the advertising is misleading (and illegal in Australia, breaching Australian Consumer Law).
