I was impressed with the quality of the birdhouse since the price was so affordable. It will definitely last many years. It has plenty of room on the inside for the baby birds and is well-ventilated. The New Zealand Pine is beautiful, and the roof and predator guard are painted either blue or green. I chose the green and it is gorgeous. It took only minutes to install on our wooden post and although we will probably not see any activity this year, I am confident that the Bluebirds will definitely use it. My hopes are that they will use the house on cold winter nights. My husband did increase the size of the hole. Our Bluebirds and Carolina Wrens prefer a 1 and 3/4 diameter hole, which was no problem. The Birdhouse was an excellent choice. My backyard is even more Beautiful, now.
