## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the Tool necessary?**
A: The tool is good if you are going to weave the cord. I just wrapped it back and forth from front to back and it was fine

**Q: How to attach to furniture?**
A: You tube has multiple pieces on attaching furniture pieces with Ratan

**Q: How do I figure out how much I need? Building from new frames:2 lrg rocking chairs with both bottom and tall back. Info combines sq m and sq ft???**
A: Dear, please measure the dimension of area that needs rattan woven, back and bottom. And then calculate the whole area.
1pc of this rattan can cover an area around 0.52 square meters. And we suggest ordering 30% longer than you need.

For 2 rocking chairs, we suggest you order 2pcs first to have a try.

**Q: How do I figure out how much I need? 2 lrg rocking chairs with both bottom and tall back**
A: It depends on how much you have to repair. I purchased one package for a love seat and chair (both high back) and it was enough. Most of my damage was in the legs or feet of the furniture and underneath. I purchased this stuff, wrapped it, took it outside and washed it, let it dry well and spray painted it - have gotten a million compliments on how good it looks! Also very sturdy and is useable again!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth buying and looks and performs well.

This product looks very good . It so far has performed well as I have wrapped an older papasan chair that was missing the real raffia in many spots due to my cat enjoying it so very much. I basically had a slightly bare chair to rewrap. This product worked very well and I would reorder it. I liked the way it is variegated and matches well with my chair . It feels real to the touch . It seems to be performing very well though it has only been a few months that I have had it on. It did the job and I got a huge amount for the price and I should have done the entire chair in one continuous looping about the cane . The reason why is that the plastic is very very slippery and takes awhile to get used to working with it. It took about half the chair for me to realize it is best to do a continua wrapping. I has to use a finish nail to begin and end the project . And this plastic cannot be glued into place . Plan to use staples or a Finnish nail and enjoy your repair. I would and will ores this again as it is a very nice product. But if you are used to using real natural wrapping don’t expect to be wrapping or weaving your project as one would with real caning. That said buy this product . You are getting an excellent value for your money . It seems quite strong and durable. Just plan your applications as it is very slippery and takes a bit of getting used to . That said once used to using this it went more quickly than using real caning ! Yes I recommend .
