Basically half fill the pot/ container with compost, put a handful of the phosphate onto the compost, place the plants root on top of the granules then continue to fill up the pot. I have had better plant growth this year. I can only assume it works. Also it should work of other plants I used it on cucumbers and courgettes all better than last year. **Q: Is this the same as rock phosphate? Carrots do not need nitrogen makes them fork.
