With every duvet I’ve ever had, I couldn’t tell if the strings were even “the strings” or if they were extra thread from the seams? The strings in this duvet are more like a ribbon and couldn’t be mistaken for anything else. They also gave enough length for you to work with, as well as extra ribbon placements on the sides to keep your comforter in place. All in all, good duvet for a good price.
