Review: fit and functions perfectly - fit my generator properly
Review: Fit my generator and works fine with no leaks - I ordered this replacement petcock for a Hyundai HD3500 generator, I purchased cheap, to replace the original which was completely clogged. This does seem more light weight and flimsy compared to the original petcock. However, I was able to install this and had no problems with fuel leaking. The handle turns fine, and I think that I will just have to take care with how I turn it on and off. I used PTFE on the threads coming out of the fuel tank and an adjustable wrench to tighten this on. I did not over tighten it, just snugged it up. On the initial installation, there was no fuel leaking from the threads or around the nut. The petcock appears to be working fine, and hopefully it will last.
