Because they were so new at the time, I wasn’t able to find any reviews on them before purchasing. I now have my own opinion of them after having them for about a year, but out of curiosity, I decided to see what others are now saying about them. I was surprised to see that there isn’t many reviews for these. In my opinion, these have to be the best binoculars at this price point. When comparing these to Vortex Diamondback’s which are price somewhat comparable, these have noticeably better lens quality and are by far the better option. Plus, these have a warranty that is almost identical to Vortex. The Vortex seem to be the better selling item, but I can’t figure out why because the Athlon is a better quality product and at a better price point in my opinion. Not that this should matter too much, but the Athlon binoculars have a better design and look to them when compared to Vortex and some others. I’m not a Vortex hater either. In fact, I own many different optics made by Vortex.
