Review: Well-built, fast, fun, and easy to operate! - Just took this boat out for the first time and we’re really impressed. It’s fast, turns on a dime, is easy to use for all ages, and super fun to drive. A couple things I really like: -Pistol grip remote – This is the same type of remote used with almost all RC cars. My kids have RC cars and were able to figure out how to drive this boat immediately. The remote has a nice, quality weight to it and a heavy bottom so it can stand up on its own without tipping over. A lot of other boats have the older variety remote and my kids don’t seem to get that as quickly which means they’re always turning the wrong way. -High and Low Speed – Gotta have it! There’s a button on the remote that toggles between high and low speed, and this is so crucial for beginners. You don’t want to hand this to someone who’s never driven an RC and they go full throttle into the beach rocks. Low speed helps them get a feel for turning and controlling. -Water-cooled motor – Keeps it from overheating. -Fairly large battery – For this size boat, the 1200Mah battery keeps it going for around 15-20min, and they also provide a second battery included. -Silicone Safety Nose – There’s a silicone cap that goes over the front nose and you’ll probably think, “What’s this for?” But when you crash it head first into the bank a few times you’ll understand. I’m sure the manufacturers had received a lot of customer service inquiries regarding broken noses, so they included this soft cover that I think will probably make the boat last a lot longer. -LED lights – There’s a couple red lights on the back, like tail-lights, and a blue light on each side. You can turn them on and off via the remote. Might be fun to try at night. -Battery warning buzzer – Let’s you know it’s time to come in to shore so you don’t have to swim out and retrieve it after it runs out of battery. Overall, a great boat, well-made and fun to drive, and a great price.
Review: A must have toy for the lake this summer! - I really like this boat! It worked perfectly on the lake at our cabin just off the pier! There was very little to no setup required with the exception of charging and installing the batteries in the boat and remote controller. It definitely attracted the attention of the neighbors and boaters who were nearby. In a good way! Product arrived within a few days of ordering. There was some minor cosmetic damage to the box as seen in photo. However, the contents inside appear to be in excellent condition. The boat, remote control, and batteries look very nice. I also like the included stand which is great for displaying the boat when not in use. Both batteries charged up without issue. I must say I really like the idea of getting two batteries included with the boat. Less down time and more fun! Which is something you don't always get with a 'cheaper' product! The boat itself is pretty fast, very responsive to the controls, and handles great in the water. It seems to have quite a far range capability. In actuality when I wanted to see how far away I could take it I had to turn around because I couldn't see the boat very well anymore - not because it was out of range! Its a lot of fun taking tight turns and jumping the waves from passing boats! The boat does best in calm water that is free of weeds/vegetation. The boat was still manageable in rougher water but was BEST on the calmer water found in the early morning or the early evening. At least on the lake that is! I suspect a smaller pond or similar would be optimal conditions at all times but have yet to try it. Overall this is an excellent purchase, especially given the price point! The boat can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So far I have had someone as young as 2 (with some assistance) and someone as old as 60 drive the boat. I don't know who was smiling more my 2 year old son or 60 year old grandpa? 10/10 I would recommend this product to someone who is looking for an affordable way to get on the water for some fun! Hope to purchase other DEERC products myself!

## Features

- Lightning Wave Racer Design for Summer Water Fun: Featuring a bold blue and yellow Lightning Wave Racer theme, this DEERC RC boat looks brighter, faster, and easier to spot on pools, ponds, and lakes. The 14-inch racing hull and 20+ MPH speed bring exciting outdoor action for summer pool days, family outings, and backyard water adventures.
- Auto Self-Righting — No Button Needed: If the remote control boat flips over during fast turns or rough water play, the self-righting hull helps it turn back upright automatically without pressing a recovery button. This keeps the race going, reduces rescue trips, and makes the boat easier for kids, boys, beginners, and adults to enjoy.
- Water Sensing Safety Function — Starts Only in Water: Built with smart water sensing technology, this remote control boat only activates when placed in water. This helps prevent accidental dry running, protects the motor and propeller, and gives users more confidence before every race. Just place it on the water, pair the remote, and start racing.
- Water-Cooled Motor & 2 Batteries for 30+ Minutes of Play: The built-in water cooling system helps reduce motor heat during high-speed runs, supporting steadier performance and longer-lasting racing fun. Comes with two 7.4V 1200mAh rechargeable batteries for over 30 minutes of total playtime, so users can swap batteries and keep the outdoor fun going.
- 492 FT Control, LED Light & Auto-Pilot Demo: The 2.4GHz anti-interference remote offers stable control up to 492 ft and supports multiple boats racing together. Full proportional throttle and steering provide smoother handling, while the LED light, low battery alarm, and one-touch “8” and “O” demo mode add more excitement on the water.
- Great Summer Gift for Adults, Boys & Kids: With its bright Lightning Wave look, high-speed racing performance, auto self-righting design, and water sensing safety function, this RC boat makes a fun and memorable gift for adults, boys, kids, and families who love outdoor water play.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the range?**
A: About 100 meter.

Please feel free to contact us via message so we can help you promptly
Thank you.
Helen
Ruying Customer Support Team

**Q: Does the red light on the charging cord turn green when the battery is fully charged?**
A: No it does not. When it’s finished charging, the light simply turns off. Just be sure to follow the guidelines printed on the USB charger: 1amp - 2amp input. I used a 2.5amp charger once and the USB plug got very warm. When used with a 1amp charger it stayed room temp. However a 2amp charger will charge the battery faster.

**Q: what about charging the batteries ?**
A: The batteries can be recharged using a USB port. The boat comes with one connector that needs to be plugged into a USB port. The batteries take about an hour give or take to recharge. Hope that helps.

**Q: Can you use in salt water?**
A: yes i use mine in salt water when im finish with boat i wash it in sink with freash water just outside of boat in side stays dry good boat

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great RC boat for kids and adults!
*by W***S on August 9, 2024*

This boat is really fun to run on a large pond or lake! It runs and turns fast! It does seem to have to be already running in order to turn sharply and not when it is just starting to move. I haven’t tested the self-righting feature, but it hasn’t turned over yet, which I believe is by design. Be sure to keep it away from any kind of shore with plants/weeds at the shoreline. The remote has a trim dial, which can be turned left or right to keep the boat moving in a straight line. There is also a button on the remote that controls LED lights (really cool at night!) and also allows for a figure 8 demo. There is also a speed control dial on the remote. The boat will not turn on until placed in the water and there are slightly exposed screws on the bottom of the boat, which probably completes the electrical circuit to turn the boat on when placed in water. The instructions will provide more details. The silicone bow protector (glad it’s included) is white and might be easily overlooked in the white styrofoam packaging, although the packaging is done very well, keeping all parts safe. The stand is nice and protects the rudder/propeller area, instead of the boat laying directly on a surface when not in use. A screwdriver, extra propeller and a few other small parts are also included, in case they are needed. The only thing that could be better is to include two chargers; one for each boat battery pack (the remote uses 3 AA batteries that aren’t included; the boat uses one battery pack - 2 are included). Customer Service has been patient and excellent! This is our second boat, as the first boat didn’t seem to turn properly (wouldn’t make sharp turns) when the instructions were followed. The company sent a replacement rudder motor, but that didn’t work. Then, they sent a full replacement and the new boat turns properly. Keep in mind that the company may take overnight to respond, due to an apparent time difference. But they will respond and will go out of their way to resolve any issues to the best of their ability!
