I really love this yarn and the skein size, very easy to use, it’s a number 4 worsted weight yarn and it makes beautiful Amigurumi’s as I’m in the process of making a dragon in this yarn, it’s soft, no splitting and it’s also great for blankets as I’m fixing to be making some solid granny squares for another project. This yarn is sold in many different colors. It’s great yarn and I just love it. I have many shades of this yarn and hope Lion brand continues making it!

Lion Brand Pound of Love. I really love this yarn and the skein size, very easy to use, it’s a number 4 worsted weight yarn and it makes beautiful Amigurumi’s as I’m in the process of making a dragon in this yarn, it’s soft, no splitting and it’s also great for blankets as I’m fixing to be making some solid granny squares for another project. I am brand new to crocheting. Like, only a couple of weeks in. This yarn was recommended to me as a good practice yarn that is high enough in quality to give you a lot of yarn to make mistakes. So great, ordered some. Then I quickly realized I was getting bored just practicing with one color, so ordered some other skeins from a couple other brands. Being a new crocheter, I had no idea how big a difference in quality there is for the apparent same weight and type of yarn, but boy, is there. I’d still categorize this as a budget yarn (maybe I’m wrong); however, comparatively speaking, it is so far the best budget yarn I’ve used. It is so smooth and slides over my fingers very nicely, so I can keep proper tension. Some of the other yarn I have to fight with and constantly pull on. I wanted to throw the other yarn in a fire, but I was determined to finish my practice project. I will be looking to order more of this yarn in some different colors.
