He was delighted to get it, especially since he couldn’t find these for sale in local stores, so the replacement value was worth it. I had to measure the base of his lamp to get the right size and my measurements came to 2.5 inches even though the description says the base of this chimney is 2 and 5/8 inches. Once it arrived in the mail, I adjusted the prongs on the oil lamp so that they would grip the base of the chimney. It feels a little wobbly but my dad says even the original chimney felt a little wobbly in its base.
