Primarily using to transport daughter' electric guitar to and from college.** A: No it will not fold. It is solid formed foam like a hardshell case but very lightweight. **Q: Works for a Flying V?** A: I don't think it would be wide enough **Q: what's the compartment size?** A: Interior Dimensions Body Length: 19.00 " Body Height: 3.38 " Lower Bout Width: 12.75 " Middle Bout Width: 12.75 " Upper Bout Width: 12.75 " Overall Length: 39.50 " ## Frequently Bought Together - Gator Lightweight Case - Electric Bass Guitar - LEKATO Bass Guitar Straps for Electric Guitar & Bass 3" Wide Bass Strap Padded Guitar Straps Adjustable Length from 45" to 55" Bass Guitar Strap with Pick Holder 2 Safety Strap Locks & 6 Picks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/317031547-gator-rigid-rigid-eps-foam-lightweight-case-for-bass-guitars](https://www.desertcart.us/products/317031547-gator-rigid-rigid-eps-foam-lightweight-case-for-bass-guitars) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
