Review: What I’ve been looking for - I bought A pair of La-Z-Boy couches at an extreme discount because the original customer Backed out at the last minute and they were customized. After a few days I understood why the customer backed out because these are the most uncomfortable couches I’ve ever had. They have the upgraded memory foam seat cushions but There’s large gaps in between each of the cushions. They drove me crazy. For years I’ve been trying different things like yoga mats, mattress toppers, Memory, latex, All things that helped improve the comfort. I finally bit the bullet and decided I was going to remove the seat cushions and buy something to replace it. When I took measurements, I realized I needed a slim or cot sized mattress to fit in the couch frame. Somehow I ended up finding and choosing this one. I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit lengthwise But hearing some of the reviews say that it ran small was actually a good thing for me. It came packaged With extreme care. The directions were a nice touch and made me smile. I took off the plastic and within 10 minutes I couldn’t wait anymore and put it right on my couch. To get the height right I did add bottom layer of yoga mat. Then a layer of foam (in the form of a 4 inch topper I bought on sale) and then this mattress. I then placed a twin sized cooling mattress topper and topped it all off with a fitted cooling sheet. Then I sat down to test it out. Within seconds I knew i finally did it. I was already more comfortable than I had ever been on the original sofa. It was firm like a seat cushion should be & I don’t feel like I was sliding off the end when my feet are on the floor. After I was satisfied it passed the sitting test I tried laying down on it. I ended up falling asleep and had the best sleep on a couch since I purchase those godforsaken couches. I normally wait to write reviews after I’ve used the product for more than a week. However with this mattress, I’m writing this review the day after I set it up. I am so pleased with this setup now. I would call this mattress firm. I was worried about the 5 inches not being enough but I didn’t see a thicker option so I figured I’d tinker with other layers I’d accumulated in the past. Turns out the 5” is more than sufficient and makes it lightweight so that one person can easily move it around. I didn’t smell anything off putting. This seems like a well made product, it inflated quickly, has a protective cover that I haven’t removed yet as per instructions. I am assuming they mean Do not remove the cover while your mattress is in the inflation process. Once it’s fully inflated you can unzip cover and put it in washing machine. I read the cover is resistant to moisture and there’s no crinkling sounds that bothered me. I’m an extremely hot natured person. I use a fan at all times and thermostat set to 69 degrees year-round. . I was worried this mattress would make me hot but that wasn’t an issue. That could be due to the mattress or due to the Cooling mattress cover and fitted sheet I used on top which is also meant to be cooling. TLDR : If you need to rehab a seat cushions on a full sized sofa, and the measurements work for your frame, this is an EXCELLENT option. Not only will sitting on your couch be comfortable, But sleeping on your couch will be wonderful as well. If anything changes I’ll be sure to update.

**Q: should I put the mattress pad over or under this pad?**
A: We recommend putting the mattress pad over the topper.

**Q: does anybody use this topper upsidedown? so that the flat side is up and the egg carton divots face down?**
A: In a hospital setting. The flat side is on the bottom. Allows air to circulate. Would be interesting to hear from the manufacturer says.
I’ve had one of these in the past. 
I out a thin mattress pad down on the bare mattress, then this egg crate topper, then a heavy mattress pad, then the sheets. It was wonderful.

**Q: I have a xl twin. will the twin fit?**
A: it should be fine, you will have a few inches at the head or feet with no topper, shouldn't be a problem. you only need it under your body . these things are pretty versitile, i have a twin bed and ordered a king, folded it in half, and put it inside a twin mattress protector to hold it all together. i had to cut a little of the lenghth but it is easy to cut with shears. i put the part i cut off in a pillowcase for my dog.

Es un producto de excelente calidad, es muy cómodo y suave. Fue fácil abrirlo, el colchón recuperó su forma original en menos de 5 min. Es algo angosto por si buscas tener el espacio de una cama individual promedio, aún así funciona bastante bien para adultos. 10/10
