Sheathes take a bit of effort to get knives in and out, but they also include a polymer pocket of sorts for the knives to sit in inside the fabric to keep them secure. They don't move whatsoever once in. Seen some other complaints that the handles can be a little slick, I suppose, but that's why there's a handguard. There's also enough swell and a big enough groove where I don't find grip to be an issue at all. They also shine up nicely with some polish and a little hand grease. Good value.

**Q: how big is the blades**
A: The set of two knives: Blades Approximately 5-1/2 inch & 4-inch

**Q: Can you wear them sideways in the sheath on the belt?**
A: The sheath is made for vertical carry, but you could rig it up for horizontal carry.  I would even feel comfortable carrying upside down such as a neck knife because retention is excellent with the insert.

**Q: are they full tang?**
A: The tang is full length, but it is a hidden tang, so no, not technically full tang.  All stacked leather handles are made that way.

**Q: Are these made of decent metal? I want and need the blade to stay sharp for all i use it for. Most importantly are the handles good and sterdy?**
A: They are made from 3Cr13 Stainless Steel. It is a good steel, but will require sharpening with use. They are not to be used to baton, they are sharp knives for cutting meat and such. They are very easy to sharpen.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharp but bad sheaths

Extraordinary deal and both knives were good and sharp. I dont k.ow how they will stand up but should handle a deer easy enough. The only bad is the knife has to be shoved hard into the sheath and takes both hands but for the price, who cares?
