Friends and my doctor recommended an arm band, and a friend who swears by her arm band recommended getting one with a gel pressure point. I couldn't find the one she owned and this seemed like the next best thing. My arm has gotten better so I'm not sure if I still need it. On a hot, sweaty day it has slid from its position, and when I wear a long sleeve sunscreen shirt, it's harder to use since it's cumbersome to put on under the shirt and when I put it on over the shirt it tends to not stay in place during the course of the session.
