Review: lovely - really good heavy but better for it....and cheap Review: Good Quality Value - These pens are really really good quality and good value I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever however the problem I find and I presume it might be the same for any pencil of this type is that if you put too much lead out of the tip and put even the slightest bit of pressure on it it snaps so basically you have to look at the tip and put probably about one to two millimetres of lead out of the tip so that you could put just a little bit of pressure on it in able to right I don't really think this is a problem with this pen brand it is more generally this type of pencil also with the smaller pencil being so fine I have found that sometimes by putting the pressure on it is cutting through the paper I am writing on again I cannot fault the value and the quality of this but maybe this is something to think about if you're using it like a conventional pencil because on a conventional pencil you can put so much more pressure and also the nib is so much bigger it doesn't go through the paper ## Features - Nicpro MP1000 Series: Come with 2 black different size 0.5mm and 0.7mm mechanical pencil, with 4 tube of HB #2 pencil lead, 2 pcs 4B-soft erasers, 9 pcs Eraser Refills in a storage case. - Metal Threaded Anti-skidding pen tube. They may not be from the same company but check the size. I would email the company first to check otherwise there are always lots of options on amazon. Hope this helped. **Q: can i buy extra erasers seperately for these? i dont want to have to buy a whole set just to replace the erasers.** A: To the best of my knowledge No, I have not seen any for sale. That being said an ordinary cheap eraser you can buy from any Stationary store should work **Q: How do I change the leads?** A: pull out the metal cap on the top of the pencil, then the eraser. That will then show the tube which you fill with a number of leads (the correct size), The leads will fall into the 'feeder tube' in turn and make their way to the 'pointy end' of the pencil. **Q: Are 4h refills available, and how much do they cost** A: Don't know. But the leads are not specific to one make, i.e. any make of 4h leads will do as long as you buy the same size/diameter of lead (0.5/0.7/0.9mm for example.) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ lovely *by R***N on 30 June 2026* really good heavy but better for it....and cheap ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality Value *by P***N on 27 July 2025* These pens are really really good quality and good value I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever however the problem I find and I presume it might be the same for any pencil of this type is that if you put too much lead out of the tip and put even the slightest bit of pressure on it it snaps so basically you have to look at the tip and put probably about one to two millimetres of lead out of the tip so that you could put just a little bit of pressure on it in able to right I don't really think this is a problem with this pen brand it is more generally this type of pencil also with the smaller pencil being so fine I have found that sometimes by putting the pressure on it is cutting through the paper I am writing on again I cannot fault the value and the quality of this but maybe this is something to think about if you're using it like a conventional pencil because on a conventional pencil you can put so much more pressure and also the nib is so much bigger it doesn't go through the paper ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely Design for My Design *by R***N on 12 September 2026* Absolutely lovely mechanical pencil set. Bought for myself to use for some geometric art projects and I love them. Nice little case to easily carry everything. To be honest I just liked the design of them too and they don't disappoint. Had a single similar pencil that cost more than this entire set and it is practically the same design. Also with them being metal no issues with durability. ## Frequently Bought Together - Nicpro 2 PCS Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm & 0.7 mm with Case, MP1000 Metal Artist Pencil Set with 4 Tubes HB Lead Refills, 2 Erasers, 9 Eraser Refills For Art Writing Drafting, Drawing, Sketch, Black - Five Star Spiral Notebook + Study App, 5 Subject, College Ruled Paper, Fights Ink Bleed, Water Resistant Cover, 8-1/2" x 11", 200 Sheets, Black (72081) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/314521202-nicpro-2-pcs-metal-mechanical-pencil-0-5mm-and-0](https://www.desertcart.us/products/314521202-nicpro-2-pcs-metal-mechanical-pencil-0-5mm-and-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
