My daughter is age 9 and really enjoys books where you can pick and choose things, similar to the "You Choose by Pippa Goodhart" Style of book. This book is about a mom who is tired of eating browny biegey foods and wants some colour in her life, so sets her kids a task of picking three items of foods from each colour for each day and then asks the reader which three foods they would pick. After it tells you what the children picked and what they made and asks the reader what they would make with their three foods.This is a fun way for kids to get interested in picking a more colourful foods, and hopefully to enjoy a more healthful diet. In the back of the book it gives tips on how to read the book with your children and how to implement it in real life.It was a fun read and we really enjoyed it. It made my daughter want to have a go at picking out three things the way the children did and encouraged her to look for some more colourful things at the store the next time we went. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2.5y old likes it *by H***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 September 2021* Only got it yesterday and been made to read it about 10x already so seems to be a hit! A bit long for us but otherwise a nice book. I'd like it in a shorter more interactive style for younger readers. Maybe the option to put food in the shopping basket somehow? My son wants to do that and is a bit put out by the page with no basket on. Or I'd like it to be more of a wipe clean workbook style so I can remember which foods he chose.. easy the forget!
