Review: The base-est base you'll ever need for Purple Leaf - This is an expensive base but is the sturdiest thing - your Purple Leaf umbrella will not be moving if it's attached to this guy and it is filled correctly. The was a 'must buy' for our umbrella because it serves as the legs for it - the umbrella screws into the top of the base. We purchased the Purple Leaf 10' vented top umbrella and this was a perfect match. No fun to spend this much on a base - I wish they would just sell it with the umbrella since the umbrella literally will not stand without it. That said, it's secure and well-made.
Review: Customer service went above and beyond - This base is really sturdy and was relatively easy to assemble. There was a point where having a second person would have made it a little easier to assemble but I did it by myself. The most impressive thing was the customer service and that is what is prompting me to do my first review after being an desertcart customer for roughly 25 years. I bought the umbrella through another company and Purple Leaf reached out to me when they didn't see an umbrella purchase through them and wanted to make sure the base fit and said to return the base if it doesn't fit! Long story short I ended up buying an umbrella through another company due to wife's preference on an umbrella size/color that was not in stock at Purple Leaf. Purple Leaf and I traded messages over several days and I was thoroughly impressed at how prompt, courteous and knowledgable they were. I vowed to write my first review based on the experience. In the end the umbrella fits perfectly and is great but I would have more peace of mind if I had bought the Purple Leaf umbrella. Thank you Purple Leaf!

This is an expensive base but is the sturdiest thing - your Purple Leaf umbrella will not be moving if it's attached to this guy and it is filled correctly.
