**Q: I love javing these in our garden window; but how can I prevent algae growth in the bottom water?**
A: Actually it's the light that is causing algae to grow. If you use a Tbsp od hydrogen peroxide to each gallon of weak plant food water, it will slow the algae growth. I'm thinking of ordering the white, apply a narrow length of tape vertically inside reservoir saucer from bottom to top edge, spray paint inside with opaque spray paint, remove strip of paint to reveal clear strip on saucer to detect water level, and assemble product per instructions. The opaque Ness of the saucer will minimize the algae growth. I'll also be using my own acrylic yarn as it won't rot like cotton will. Hope this helps! 👍🏻

**Q: does it come with a soil pod?**
A: Hi, TS. Actually the product isn't supplied with soil pods. But you can always purchase them separately. The best product for self watering pots are trending coco noir. They expand upon watering and allows even water flow and oxygen circulation. Which is extremely healthy for your plants along with the organic nutrition supplied by the soil itself. You can also mix with regular soil to get a better texture. I hope that was helpful. Let me know if you need any assistance.

**Q: Will this wick well using leca?**
A: I’m not sure these pots would work with Leca. The wick is doing the same thing as the leca by evenly watering the plant. The pots work great for all my thirsty plants.

**Q: How can one purchase more large and medium suze pots**
A: I've noticed that your question has gone unnoticed. I would like to apologize for the irresponsibility.  If your are currently active I would gladly assist you with your endeavor. From what I see you were interested in one of the best products for in home gardening and planting. In case you are in the middle of planning your next project or the same one as before these self-watering pots continue to dominate sales within its brand. Yet, these particular products are only sold in sets. The product has been compromised to sale with additional smaller pots for convenience. It is typical to use the six inch pottery vessels more often than the smaller ones because of rapid root growth. By purchasing another set will get you more than what you need. I will get more of these. They’re so cute and the sizes perfect for small or starting plants and what a relief not to have to worry about them drying out. Thank you for shipping to my remote location in Alaska where items like this are not to be found peace on earth and bless you all.

I have bought the smaller sizes several times and have been very impressed with the quality and how well the plants grow within these pots. The best part is not having to worry about remembering to water. The only downside to these larger ones is that the clear plastic base do not sit snug or "clip together" with the top half of the pot like the smaller ones do. This can be a little flustering since you have to literally hold the top half of the pot and the base together when transporting the pot to the location of your choice once you have the water in the base. For the smaller sized pots the top and bottom clipped together so well that you only needed to hold either the top half or the bottom when the water was placed in the bottom half. Would purchase again but honestly the price needs to be slightly lowered.
