Also included is a stainless steel server which features the Spode insignia. The eleven inch flat plate makes an attractive presentation for a cake, tart or even bar cookies. Although the surface is flat, the cake plate has a slightly raised ring incorporated in the mold on the bottom side which keeps it elevated a bit above whatever table or counter is rests on so it is easy to grab the edge and lift when time to remove.
