**Q: Could this be used as a toy bin or blanket basket?**
A: Yes that is what I use it for. My toddler loves to take out all his toys and get carried around in it. It's surprisingly well made.This basket pretty big, fits a good amount of blanket that always end up all over the living room!

**Q: Will the color fade or not?**
A: Maby not,I don’t think so.Just don’t leave it in direct sunlight.

**Q: can this hamper be washed?**
A: I highly doubt it. I would just spot clean with a rag.

**Q: Are they machine washable?**
A: I don't think this basket is machine washable.  I can't find any kind of laundry instructions on it, and I think it would completely lose it's shape if it went through a full machine laundry cycle.

This is just about perfect. The color is nice and more importantly the size is great. Not so big that if you fill it, it is cumbersome to carry. The handles are built in and the whole thing seems very sturdy. I have seen other reviews that complain that it is not "round". I did not have any problems. If you are thinking perfectly round, like a trash basket, you are going to be disappointed, but it is round enough for carrying laundry. The picture shows how it pretty much came out after unfolding. I did push it around a bit for a few seconds to make it look like this, but I did not have to stuff it full of blankets to stretch it into this shape.
