Definitely giftable, especially for young ladies or older girls since it does run small. I'd say the size is about: Adult Extra Small to Small. The fabric is really nice: quality satin ties, thick enough fabric that stains shouldn't come through and designed in a fun floral pattern. My favorite part about this Apron is the Stretch in the Fabric! It makes the Apron very comfortable to wear. It is light weight and seems to be well made for the price. I cannot say enough good things.If you are a average/smaller person (US women's 12 or smaller), although it's cute, the ties will probably be excessively long.
