This heavy stretch knit elastic is designed to be a little stiffer and offer more resistance to its stretch than other elastics. it offers a stiff, strong stretch and can be used on heavier fabrics. The elastic will not narrow when stretched making it perfect for exposed waistbands on a gathered skirt or pants. heavy stretch knit elastic is also great for cuff bands and jacket waistbands. Prolastic Designer's Choice Knit Elastics can be used for waist bands, gloves, suspenders, belts, face mask straps, sporting goods, sweat bands, horse blankets and elastic pockets, among others. This elastic has already been preshrunk. It also is machine washable and dryable, but do not expose to temperatures that exceed 200 degrees. 68% Polyester and 32% Natural Latex Rubber.
