It is not 14" like the other answers so far imply. Perhaps it used to be larger at some point? I don't know. I have had one since from about a year ago and I just recently bought several more this year to give as gifts and they are all 13" diameter x 3" thick. When you receive a new Bucket Boss 69000 it lists the dimensions right on the tag that comes attached to one of the handles. Lest anyone be confused by the varying answers here I have posted several images along with my review of these bags showing one with a ruler laid across it plus a shot of the tag so you can see/read it for yourself. You can see them by going through the "Customer images" thumbnailed on the right below. I have no idea the size of the 69009 nor do I even find one with that number here on Amazon or elsewhere. There is a Bucket Boss 06009 that still shows up here on Amazon (not Prime eligible) and a few other places but it is reportedly 3" thick like this one and now discontinued. **Q: Will this hold a fresh roll of 250' of Romex (12/2)?** A: Not sure how big the roll of Romex is but the size of the bag is 14" dia x 3" deep **Q: will this case leak through??** A: The case is canvas material. I only hold the jumper cables in it, no liquid so I am not sure. **Q: will this bag leak through like acid??** A: the bag is canvas, so it won't behave like an acid as in, "leak through like acid." But an acid will leak through the bag.
