I needed another blade and told the rep what I was doing and they asked the condition of the grout. Long story short, they suggested this blade. This accessory made it very easy to refresh the grout in an entire entranceway as well as a small bathroom in approximately 1 hr. It is way easier than re-grouting the entire room. Only works if grout is in good condition (which mine was). I am ordering more now to do the rest of my tile floors.Also shout out to Fein. My tool was out of warranty. They told me to send in and max cost to repair would be $120. So I was counting on $120 plus freight. They called and the cost to repair was $40. Nice to see a quality company that is willing to repair their product at a reasonable price. ### ⭐ Not economical or effective for it's intended use. *by H***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2017* Tried to use this to clean the tile grout in my shower. It wore down very quickly even though the grout was NOT sanded. After cleaning just a couple of tiles I had to resharpen it, and after about ten tiles almost half of it had worn away. If you don't keep a reasonably sharp edge on the tool it doesn't clean effectively. Therefore, you are constantly honing it, which adds to the ware. I tried to take as little off during the honing process as possible. I've had my Fein for many years and love the tool. It can do things that no other tool can do, including removing tile grout. However, cleaning tile grout is not one of those things. ### ⭐⭐ It does not clean, it removes grout *by G***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2019* Admittedly it removes less grout than a regular cutting blade, but it removes enough material to force you to re-grout a unless you don't care to have different floor levels at the tiles and gaps. Good idea, just not the best implementation.
