Set it to yellow for humidity control and it senses when to turn on. I bought mine a year ago and had to notch the top of the goggle, a 3/8" triangle. This was to get the bend/arc of the fan to fit the arc of the goggles. I have put fan on three different goggles and only had to modify two. First of all, this thing is very loud inside my paintball mask. It’s like I constantly have a swarm of mosquitoes buzzing around my ears!! As loud as it is you would think the airflow would be more than what it is, but it is not. I still fog up like crazy. I think with the limited air movement and the fact the unit blocks almost the entire top vent of my mask it is either just as good or even worse than not having it at all. Second, the fan just all of the sudden stopped working!! In the middle of a round with a fresh battery it just stopped. I got hit in the mask then it started working again. Then it quit again. Now it’s just so random that it just removed it completely!! Don’t waste your money.
