Nice shelf for the price. The wood has a smooth texture, with an appealing stain applied. It feels to be good quality, and the brackets are nice too. The mounting screw holes are very slightly indented to help the screw align and bite, which is a thoughtful touch. I like that the manual includes thorough instructions, and the weight rating for dry wall only/stud only/drywall AND stud (1 each side) mounting approaches.
